Alpine Elements unveils 2010 summer collection – ideal for families looking for an adventure - More FREE activities included in every package

.

Alpine Elements, an independent UK-based holiday company specialising in ski, snowboard and adventure breaks in a wide variety of chalets and hotels in premium French resorts, today releases its 2010 summer holiday brochure, ideal for families looking for an affordable adventure holiday. To help travellers recession-proof their holiday, Alpine Elements has introduced even more free activities on their already-extensive list of holiday options including mountain biking, white-water rafting, walking, climbing, summer ski and boarding, canoeing, pedalo, sailing, tennis, swimming and lots more – at no extra charge. Summer getaways start from just £283 per person and include flights, transfers, catering, hotel accommodation and all activities.

Families will love the wealth of activities on offer and almost all activities are available for younger travellers to enjoy, making an Alpine Elements trip the ideal choice for those looking for a holiday that can really bring families together and get them moving.

Managing Director, James Hardiman, says: “Today’s sedentary lifestyle sees parents and kids sitting at their desks or playing on video games for hours on end. An activity holiday really brings a family together. Alpine air and a sense of adventure do much to revive tired bodies, but we find the smiles on children’s faces after a week of ‘family time’ is the true reward.”

This year marks the first time Alpine Elements will be going outside the French Alps during the summer season, allowing travellers to say ‘oui’ AND ‘si’ to the wealth of activity-packed options the region has to offer. Lake Garda, in Italy, is the newest addition to the Alpine Elements programme. Alpine Elements will also be offering Chamonix, Les Gets, Morzine, Tignes and Les 2 Arcs holiday packages in addition to Lake Garda, making it the largest tour operator offering summer activity breaks to the French Alps.

Guests can choose to stay in an Alpine Elements hotel, take sole occupancy of a catered chalet or share a chalet with like-minded family activity travellers. Chalets selected by Alpine Elements are like cosy homes away from home and all chalets are divided into three categories to help travellers select their desired travel style and budget: gold, silver and bronze. Silver and bronze properties are centrally-located offering good value while gold chalets provide that little bit extra, usually in the form of a sauna, swimming pool or extra-special interiors. Hotels in the Alpine Elements programme range in quality from 2-to-4 star and always have an Alpine Elements rep available to greet and guide holidaymakers during their stay.

Customers that book online will receive an instant £70 discount PLUS an active holiday pack worth £125. The activity holiday pack inclusions vary from resort to resort but typically include free bike hire for the duration of the holiday, walking trail maps, white-water rafting passes and additional multi-pass activity passes.

Prices start from just £283 per person for a three-night short-break or £359 per person for a week-long adventure. The season runs from 27 May to 12 September and catered chalets even include complimentary house wine for each day of your stay for mum and dad! Bookings can be made by calling Alpine Elements on 0844 770 4070 or go to www.alpineelements.co.uk.
